Meet Raul and Analise, the new “children’s faces” of Safety Harbor Optical. We are here to discuss an important topic: your child’s vision. Whether your child wears glasses or not, please do us a favor: Ask her/him if they can see the chalkboard, their reading materials and/or computer screen clearly. Children that do not get their annual eye exams, whether they wear glasses or not, often have vision problems. This can result in potential eyestrain and headaches while in class and doing their homework.

Remembering my Mom, Lucille

My vibrant and beautiful mom with the biggest smile, lost the fight to breast cancer over six years ago. Many of you fondly remember my mom, Lucille Hollander, who worked at Safety Harbor Optical for many years. My mom's biggest joy was her family, her husband Marvin, my sister and I, our spouses and of course her three precious grandchildren. This disease touches so many. Sadly, almost every pair of eyes reading this right now knows someone who is fighting the disease, or lost the battle.
